Portals stories

Check my card

A story you put on the badge is not in Portals' Stories list? This reads the Tanmatsu's SD card over USB and says why: a story copied in part, unzipped a folder too deep, still a zip, or somewhere the game does not look. Then it puts it right, if you ask. Reading changes nothing on the card.

Check it

  1. Plug in. Connect the Tanmatsu to this computer with USB.

  2. BadgeLink mode. On the badge's launcher, press the purple diamond: a USB icon shows in the top right.

  3. Check. Press the button and pick Tanmatsu in the list.

Where a story goes

Each story is a folder in /sd/portals/dlc/, with its pack.txt straight in it: /sd/portals/dlc/hackfest/pack.txt. Not the zip, and not a folder in a folder: some computers unzip hackfest.zip into hackfest/hackfest/. The next Portals, 0.13.3, finds a story a folder too deep, and lists a folder it cannot play under Stories, with why.
